Anton, Faye

 

Faye Anton, age 50 of Newaygo, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2008 at her home in Newaygo following a long illness.  Faye was born on February 14, 1958 in Charlotte, Michigan to Robert and Wilma (Decker) Worden and moved to the Newaygo area in 1966 from Eaton Rapids.  Faye had worked at C & J Laundry in Newaygo for several years and enjoyed watching television. 

 

Faye is survived by her sons, Robert Anton of Newaygo; James Anton of Howard City; her grand daughter, Allissa Anton of Grand Rapids; her sister, Ethel Burley of Newaygo; her brother-in-law, John Burley of Godrich, Ontario, Canada.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Wilma; by her son, Kennth Anton on December 13, 2003 and by her nephew, Craig Bailey.

 

Private memorial services will be held following her wishes for cremation.  Friends may consider the Faye Anton family or Hospice of Michigan for memorial contributions in memory of Faye.  Friends may also send a condolence or share a memory of Faye online at www.crandellfh.com.  Arrangements by Crandell Funeral Home – Fremont Chapel.

I am very sad to hear of Faye's passing. She was a very nice person. I grew up in "the neighborhood" and came to know Ethel, but until now did not know they were sisters!!!!! Bobby, I am very sorry for your loss.  I do know that she is no longer in pain and hope that remembering this can help to ease some of your sadness. We are thinking of you in this difficult time.

Ethel and family……So sorry to hear of the loss of your sister……I remember when you used to live across the street from us…..time sure does fly…..

I was one of Faye's teachers in Adult Education. She was a very determined
person and I enjoyed her in class. My sympathy goes to you in this time of
mourning.
