Berry, Marilyn R.

Marilyn R. Berry, age 71 of Woodville, formerly of Grand Rapids, passed away Sunday, Dec. 9, 2007 at her home following a long illness.  Marilyn was born on August 11, 1936 in White Cloud to Karl and Doris (Dornbush) Eldred.  Marilyn graduated from White Cloud High School in 1954 and married Roger “Buck” Berry on May 15, 1954 and soon moved to Grand Rapids until 1992 when she moved back to the Woodville area.  Marilyn had worked as a senior inspector for the Red Flannel Factory in Cedar Springs and was also a full time homemaker.  She enjoyed playing bingo, sewing, visiting with friends at coffee, cooking and taking care of her family. 

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Roger “Buck” Berry of Woodville; her children, Rodney “Joe” (Theresa) Berry of Grand Rapids; Terry Berry of Grand Rapids; Tim (Kathy) Berry of Big Rapids; Kevin (Linda) Berry of Grand Rapids; Shawn (Terra) Berry of Howard City; Tammy Berry of Grandville; 13 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; her step mother, Lois Eldred of White Cloud; her step brothers, Lynnwood (Jan) Mast of White Cloud; Terry (Sandy) Mast of White Cloud; Ross (Susan) Mast of Grand Rapids; Randy (Janis) Mast of Donaldsville, Louisiana.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Karl and Doris Eldred and by her sister, Joyce Ellis.

VISITATION : Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8.  FUNERAL SERVICES : Thursday at 1pm at the Crandell Funeral Home – White Cloud Chapel with Pastor Lucky Fulton of the Amazing Grace Acres Church presiding.  MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS : Hospice of Michigan or The Salvation Army.
