Farber, Patricia J.

 

Patricia J. Farber, age 69 of Hesperia, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at the Mercy General Health Partners in Muskegon following a short illness.  Patricia was born on May 17, 1940 in Shelby, Michigan to Bernard and Zelma (Keck) Crisman and has been a lifelong resident of the Hesperia and Shelby area.  Patricia met and later married William Farber on September 22, 1982 in Hesperia.  Patricia had been a waitress at the House of Flavors in Hesperia for 25 years until her retirement.  She enjoyed mushroom hunting, flower and vegetable gardening, patchwork sewing, riding the quad with her grandchildren at her home, but especially enjoyed spending time with and spoiling her grandchildren.

 

Patricia is survived by her husband, William of Hesperia; her children, Tony Delia (special friend, Maria) of Shelby; Tina (Larry) Tinkham of Hesperia; Peter Delia of Hesperia; Victor (Rhonda) Delia of Hesperia; Julie Lord of Newaygo; Mary (Morrey) Boven of Twin Lake; Michael Farber of Hesperia; Judy (Carson) Prus of Hesperia; Jerry (Connie) Farber of Allendale; Rick Farber of Bloomington, Indiana; 32 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; her sisters and brother, Kathy (David) McKellar of Grand Rapids; Alice (Larry) Snyder of Montague; Harry Lohman (friend, Chuck) of Washington, DC; Mary (Roger) Phillips of Valdosta, Georgia; Karen (Robert) Cook of Rockford; Lorraine Durst of Grand Rapids; many nieces and nephews; sisters-in-laws, Rosemary Crisman and Vickie Crisman.  Patricia was preceded in death by her brothers, Lawrence Crisman; Robert Atherton; Richard Crisman; and by her sister, Phyllis Davis.

 

A time of remembrance will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2009 from 1-3pm at the Hesperia American Legion, 4075 S 198th Ave  Hesperia  MI  49421, following her wishes for cremation.  Friends may send a condolence or share a memory with the Farber family online at www.crandellfh.com

I just wanted you to know my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time. Pat was an awesome person with a great sense of humor. I loved seeing her at Jaimes family gatherings and in Walmart with you.  Take care Bill.
