Follett, Robert C. "Frenchie"

 

Robert C. “Frenchie” Follett, age 72 of Hesperia, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2008 at the Hackly Hospital in Muskegon.  Frenchie was born on February 20, 1936 in Muskegon County and had been a truck driver for Intra-city Dispatch in Muskegon for many years.  Frenchie served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict.  He was a member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association and enjoyed riding his motorcycle and visiting with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

 

He is survived by his wife, Sandra of Hesperia; several children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

 

Celebration of Life services will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2008 at 12:00 p.m. at the Cross Winds Fellowship in North Muskegon.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions given to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International, 5075 Cascade Road SE  Suite F,  Grand Rapids,  MI  49546.  Friends may also send a condolence or share a memory online with the Follett family at www.crandellfh.com.  Arrangements by Crandell Funeral Home – Fremont Chapel  231-924-0800

Hey Tina, Todd, Tagg, and Troy....so sorry to hear about Uncle Bob....no one even told me he'd been sick. Uncle Fred and Aunt Bunny filled me in this morning. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

Sandy, we were so sad to hear about Frenchies passing. Our memories of ya'll coming to the Wayside Motel for the Midnight run, will always be happy ones for us. We didn't know you and Frenchie for very long, but considered you guys very good friends. My God be with you at this sorrowful time in your life. If you ever get down here to Tennessee, please look us up.
