Hart, Martin Jay
Martin Jay Hart, age 81 of Newaygo, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2009, at Gerber Memorial Health Services in Fremont. Martin was born on November 1, 1927, in Allendale to Albert and Clara (Dekker) Hart Sr. and had proudly served his country during WWII .
He is survived by his children, Stanley (Patti) Hart of Portage, Bruce (Maureen) Hart of Grand Rapids, Keith (Mary Jo) Hart of Grand Rapids, Kimberly Hart of Maryland, and Rodney (Laurie) Hart of Pennsylvania; 12 grandchildren; 2 brothers; 3 sisters; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 pm, Tuesday, August 4, 2009, from the Crandell Funeral Home – Fremont Chapel with Larry Bouwkamp and Stanley VanSingel officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service. For a more lasting memorial friends are asked to consider the Gerber Memorial Health Services Oncology Department.
