
Hymer Hurst, Elizabeth "Betty"
Elizabeth “Betty” L. Hymer Hurst, age 82 of Fremont, passed away Monday, October 29, 2007 at the Spectrum Health Services – Butterworth Campus. Betty was born on March 28, 1925 in Wyandotte, Michigan to John Henry and Ethel (Shaffer) Hymer. Betty was born and raised a Quaker and had been a home health care worker for several years. Betty moved back to Fremont from Monrovia, California in January 2002. Betty had also served in the United States Air Force where she was a photographer for General Curtis LeMay during the Korean Conflict.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Marsha Ann Coronado of White Cloud; her grandchildren, AnaLouise Coronado of Raton, New Mexico; Nathan Segovia of San Francisco, California; Noelle Segovia of Fremont; great grandchildren, Anthony Coronado; Henry Coronado; Ira Segovia; her brothers, Glen Hymer and companion, Sharon Dailey of Fremont; David Hymer of Indianapolis, Indiana. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers.
VISITATION : Friday from 12-2 at Crandell Funeral Home – Fremont Chapel. SERVICES : Friday, Nov. 2, 2007 at 2pm at the Crandell Funeral Home – Fremont Chapel. INTERMENT : Colorado.
