
Kleczynski, Harry S.
Harry S. Kleczynski, age 82 of Grand Rapids, formerly of White Cloud, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2007 at the Spectrum Health Services – Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids. Harry was born on July 11, 1925 in Manistee, Michigan to Joseph and Agnes (Bilski) Kleczynski and later married June Dobel on August 4, 1951 in Manistee. Harry had been a resident of the White Cloud area since 1988 when he retired and moved from Grand Rapids. Harry had worked for the Prudential Insurance Company for 14 years and then started work at the Blue Cross Blue Shield Insurance Company where he worked for 20 years until his retirement in 1988. Harry was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in White Cloud and enjoyed pistol shooting and target practice shooting. He was a veteran of World War II where he served in the United States Army.
He is survived by his wife, June of Grand Rapids; his children, Mary (Gerald) Dutkiewicz of Kentwood; Robert (Diane) Kleczynski of Lowell; Gary Kleczynski of Kentwood; his grandchildren, Chad, Brandy, Christopher, Ashley, Joshua; great grandchildren, Breanna, Morgan, Gage, Joaquin, Jaidyn, Alexus; his sister, Dorothy Kleczynski of Manistee; Raymond (Jane) Kleczynski of Connecticut. He was preceded in death by his sister, Clara Ake and brother, Frank Kleczynski.
Funeral Memorial Mass services will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2007 at 11 am from the St. Joseph Catholic Church in White Cloud. Friends may consider the St. Joseph Catholic Church Building Fund for memorial contributions in memory of Harry.
