Peter A. Morgan, age 63 of White Cloud, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 14, 1998 at his home.  He was born on December 25, 1934 in Ann Arbor, Michigan to Frank and Edna (Peterson) Morgan and married Darlene J. Kipp on May 13, 1955 in White Cloud.  He has been a lifelong resident of the White Cloud area where he had been a construction worker.  He was a member of the White Cloud United Methodist Church in White Cloud; a life member of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of the Chippewa Indians and a member of the Holton Hunting Club.  He was also a veteran of the Korean Conflict where he served in the United States Army.

 

He is survived by his wife, Darlene of White Cloud; two children, Jackie (Mark) Drew of White Cloud; Peter A. (Monica) Morgan Jr. of White Cloud; four grandchildren, Ryan J. Manor; Hunter J. Morgan; Kassidy R. Morgan; Jillian Drew;  brothers and sisters, Frank (Glenna) Morgan of Fremont; Lois Girard of West Olive; Patricia Phillips of Ludington; David (Donna) Morgan of Hart; Lamonte (Nancy) Morgan of Hart; Barbara Rogers of White Cloud; Judith of Ludington; brother-in-law, Clarence (Willidean) Kipp of White Cloud; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.

 

Funeral services were held on Friday, October 16, 1998 at 11:00am from the Crandell Funeral Home Chapel in White Cloud with Rev. Jerry Jaquish of the White Cloud United Methodist Church presiding.  Friends are asked to consider the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians Education Fund or the Make-A-Wish Foundation for memorial contributions.  Envelopes are available at the Crandell Funeral Home in White Cloud.
