Janice Kay Rinard, age 56, of Interlochen, passed away on Monday, November 9, 2009, at Transitional Health Services in Fremont.  Janice was born on May 31, 1953, in Muskegon, Michigan, to Alva and Edna Mae (Sikorski) Rinard, and was a health care worker.  Janice enjoyed bingo and was a member of the Little River Tribe of Ottawa Indians.

 

Janice is survived by her sons, David (Kelly) Geeting of Mesick, and Daniel Geeting of Florida; 2 grandchildren;  3 step-grandchildren; mother, Edna Mae Rinard of Holton; brother and sisters, Alice Schneider of Holton, Judith Snow of Walkerville, Darlene Short of Holton, Alva J. Rinard of Holton, and Karen Alther of Interlochen.   She was preceded in death by her father Alva and sister Martha Denman.

 

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2009 at 12 noon from the Crandell Funeral Home  Fremont Chapel.  There will be visitation 1 hour prior to the service to visit with the family.  Friends may send a condolence or share a memory online at www.crandellfh.com.  Arrangements by Crandell Funeral Home – Fremont Chapel.
