Schotts, Arthur Lee

     

Arthur Lee Schotts, age 69 of Holton, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2009, at his home.  Arthur was born on March 9, 1940, in Holton to Sam and Ruth (Eimans) Schotts and married Margaret Burkett on April 25, 1959, in Fremont.  He had worked at Brunswick Corporation in Muskegon for over 44 years prior to his retirement in 2003.  Arthur loved deer hunting, fishing, and living on the lake.

 

Arthur is survived by his loving wife Margaret of Holton; sons, Arthur (Linda) Schotts Jr. of North Muskegon, Robert Schotts of Holton, Gerald Schotts of Holton, and James Schotts of Holton; 12 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brothers and sister, Kathy Anderson of Twin Lake, Robert Schotts of East Jordan, and Carl Schotts of Norton Shores; many nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Geraldine Burkett; and very special friend, Leonard Kyuszynski of Fremont. He was preceded in death by brothers, Dale, Ken, and Jerry Schotts.
