Vanderboegh, Jack C.

 

Jack C. Vanderboegh, age 67 of Holton, passed away Monday at his home following a short illness.  Jack was born on Oct. 16, 1941 in Muskegon to Amos R. and Verna (Medbury) Vanderboegh and moved to the Holton area in 1946 and met and later married Julie Kempf on May 1, 1970 in Fremont.   Jack had been an auto mechanic at GTE/Verizon for 24 years until his retirement in 1997 and had also worked at Rowderinks for a short period.  Jack was a veteran of the Vietnam War where he served in the US Air Force.  Jack was a member of the Holton United Methodist Church; the Holton American Legion Post #397; Experimental Aircraft Association, Chapter 578 and had been active in the organization of Holton Days.  Jack especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

 

SURVIVORS : his wife, Julie of Holton; children, Jack M. (Margie) Vanderboegh of Holton; Jennifer L. Vanderboegh of Holton; his grandchildren, Mallory and Joslin; his mother, Verna Vanderboegh of Holton; sister, Joanne (Ronald) Dalton of Perry, FL; brother, Ronald (Zola) Vanderboegh of Twin Lake; sisters-in-law, Sandra Saliers of Howard City; Susan (Robert) Pell of Attleboro, MA; brother-in-law, Robert (Carolyn) Kempf of White Cloud; several nieces and nephews. 

 

VISITATION : Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 at Crandell Funeral Home – Fremont Chapel.  FUNERAL SERVICES : Friday at 2:30 pm at the Holton United Methodist Church.  INTERMENT : Oakwood Cemetery.  MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS : West Michigan Veteran’s Service Center in Muskegon.

May God Bless the family of Jack C. Vanderboegh in their trying times. So sorry to hear we have lost our dearest one. Sorry I can't be there, but health wise I am not able to.
