Delmon Williams

Del Williams, age 80, of Fremont passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2007, at home. He was born on March 8, 1927, in Tennessee to Jerry and Rosa (Carter) Williams and married Alzona Christine Culp on December 1, 1945. He worked at Ingersoll-Rand in Livonia prior to his retirement to the Fremont area and was a member of the Fremont United Methodist Church.

Del is survived by his wife Chris of Fremont; children, Jerry Williams of Fremont and Joan Lamborn of Brighton, MI; 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brother, Redell Williams; and sister, Delphine Pendergrass.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2007, at 12 noon at the Fremont United Methodist Church. Visitation and time to meet with the family will be2 hours prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Parkview Memorial Cemetery in Livonia. Dearest Chris and family,

I was sorry to hear of Del's passing. I will miss his bright eyes and sweet smile. Your love for each other was so very apparent and you were a lovely couple when I met you in Sunday school. I pray that you are well and that you will call me if there is anything I can do.
