Young, Charles L.

Charles L. Young, age 75 of Hersey, passed away Thursday at his home.  Charles was born on March 31, 1934 in Grand Rapids to LeRoy and Evelyn (Eastman) Young and has been a resident of the Hersey area for the past 14 years when he moved from Grand Rapids.  Charles had owned and operated the Service Mold Company as a tool and die maker until his retirement.   Charles had been a hobby farmer, enjoyed deer hunting and golfing.

He is survived by his children, Candy (Terry) Fellows; Debbie (Steve) Holman; Robin (Dale) Sidor; Kim (Jim) Hiasma; Jami (Jamie) Young; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brothers, Ronald (Arlene) Young of Grand Rapids; Raymond (Lillian) Young of Grand Rapids; sister, Carolyn (Rich) Scott of White Cloud.

VISITATION : Sunday, August 16, 2009 from 2-4 & 6-8 at Crandell Funeral Home – White Cloud Chapel.  FUNERAL SERVICES : Monday, August 17, 2009 at 11am at the Crandell Funeral Home – White Cloud Chapel.  INTERMENT : White Cloud Cemetery.  MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS : Hospice of Michigan.
